Township Officials

 

 

   Rome Township was named in 1834 by Lyman W. Baker and was organized in 1835.  The first settlers were the Baker's, Smith's, Schureman's, and Luther's.  Other early settlers were the Bradley's, Knapp's, Hubbard's, and Joseph M. Baker.
